 Rescue this guy from an LFS!

Found this guy at a local LFS here in Cleveland called King Neptunes Pets Hes about 30" long and stuck in a 75 with a marble cat and 4 oscars.

If hes still there by the 24th I'm going to pick him up but being stuck in a tank where its almost impossible for him to turn in he might not make it that long. Hes $69.99 and labeled as a spotted gar.

desperately needs a bigger tank almost in humane looking when you see it in person
great lfs tho good prices clean tanks and nick the owner is a great guy

bump keep this one at the top.



I bet ANYTHING that they will drop the price significantly if you take him. Just ask they don't want to deal with a 30" dead fish. And they know they can't care for him the right way. So ask for a lower price. I bet they drop it.

I saw him two weekends ago after I meat up with Vic. Wish I had the room...

well i traded 3 7 in red bellies for this guy today hes 27 in i measured him before he went in the 180
my 300 is on order and should be here just after christmas so thats where he will end up just thought i would let everyone know

Nice save!

Hopefully he does ok in the 180 until the 300 arrives. Longnose have a long history of breaking their backs.

yea i know i was alil worried but i figured the 180 is way better than the 75 he was in

That's true.

You should start a thread of him in his new tank under the Gar forum! I'd like to see some new pics of him!
