Great looking tank. Your perch look great, when I upgrade in the future I will be adding some perch.

Tank and fish look great! How do the Fl/Spotteds seem to be doing without heat? Since the Gar are likley Floridas, I was just curious how they are doing. Either way they will probably do just fine in the lower 70's.

They are doing great. I haven't noticed any behavioral or eating changes. The tank being the same temp as the house is at about 68F.

That's good to hear! I figured they would be fine, but I have never kept mine below 72-74 degrees for any extended period of time. You may notice a slower growth rate, but that's no big deal.

One thing I have noticed is that none of them gulp air near as often as they did with warmer water temps.
